King’s Cross St Pancras Tube station evacuated this morning
King’s Cross St Pancras Tube station was evacuated this morning during rush hour.
At about 8:45am station staff cleared the station over a fire alert. Transport for London said that the station was cleared and closed as a precaution. An inspection after found no fires and the station was re-opened.
The emergency alert added to the misery of commuters going through King’s Cross this morning as there was a signal failure occurring at the station as well.
The station was re-opened at around 9am however underground trains were not stopping.
