Hundreds Use Boris Bikes During Tube Strike
Today is the second and final day of the tube strikes that has seen the closure of all London Underground stations and no service on any Underground lines.
Londoners took to various methods to get to work today trying to use alternative transport such as walking, cycling , buses or taxi.
The scenes at Victoria Station for the buses were near horrific as annoyed commuters took to social media to vent their anger.
“I honestly can’t believe that bus queue in Victoria,” tweeted Lo (@Lokui_). “I’m not sure I would even queue that long to get into heaven. The insanity of our time.”
While people who tried using Boris Bikes found themselves with no free docking stations to dock their bikes in, such as in Soho where bikes were left on top of each other.
