Duchess of Cambridge Gives Birth to a Boy
It’s the news that everyone has been eagerly waiting for, The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby son.
Kensington Palace confirmed he was delivered at 4.24pm yesterday. No name has been selected for the baby just yet but a name will be announced in the coming days.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s first child weighed in at 8lb 5oz. Both mother and baby are reported to be doing fine at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
Prince William was present at the birth, with the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh both said they are ‘delighted’ at the news.
Kensington Palace confirmed the news officially after 8pm last night. As is tradition a bulletin was posted outside Buckingham Palace.
The new arrival will be third in line to the throne joining a succession of sons.
